Villa Taverna is located in the picturesque village of TavarnelleVal di Pesa, in the Chianti area, halfway between Florence and Siena. The closest town is Barberino Val d’Elsa, famous for its original medieval walls. This is the ideal starting point both for day trips to Florence and Siena, and for reaching other charming Chianti villages (such as Greve, Panzano, Castellina, Radda) or medieval villages of Tuscany countryside (like San Gimignano, Certaldo, Monteriggioni, Volterra).

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

The  Main villa has a  surface of  500 square meters based on 3 different floors . The Dependance  100 square meters based on 2 different floors. 

Main Villa

Ground Floor

Entering the main villa, guests will be welcomed into a bright veranda, furnished with fireplace, original stone floors, wicker sofa and armchairs.  

From the veranda, guests may have the access to the billiard room with a corner bar, and to the fully equipped kitchen and the elegant dining room with fireplace. Going further, there is a small living room with comfortable sofa, armchair and flat screen TV.

The main furniture is represented by fine wood, using as colors both black and white, offering to the ambiences a special effect and the perfect mix between the various color shades.  

The ground floor also hosts the fully equipped Spa ( which entrance is located on the back of the villa ). This ambience has been equipped with several wellness facilities such as: Turkish bath, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym equipment like a cyclette and a stepper.

First Floor

The first floor is accessible through a stone staircase and consists of 4 bedrooms ( 3 with double beds and 1 with twin beds ) overlooking the surrounding landscape. All rooms are tastefully furnished and provided with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom of which 3 have a bathtub and shower and 1 has a shower. The bathrooms are made of fine and Travertino Marble and newly renovated with tastefully decor.

On the same level lies also a large living room with wooden beams, sofas, armchairs, an old Tuscan fireplace and a wooden desk.

Dependence

Ground Floor

Entering the dependence through a separate entrance, guests will access a cozy living area equipped with a small kitchen, a dining table and a sofa.

First Floor

The upper level is accessible following some internal stairs. There are two bedrooms (1 double and 1 with two single beds, ideal for children) and a bathroom with shower.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Main Villa

MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom is located on the first floor and offers a large painted room with the soft colors of beige. The roof with white exposed beams makes the room cozy and relaxing. The double bed is located below an arch and behind is a wall finely covered and surrounded by shelves that can be also used as a bookcase. At the bottom of the bed there is a bench covered with the same fine fabrics used for bed linen. To complete the furnishings of this room, there is also a fireplace recalling the original style of the house.

This room, as well as the others, is equipped with a walk-in closet and a very large en-suite bathroom which boasts both a wide Jacuzzi bathtub and a stand-alone shower.  

DOUBLE BEDROOM: The second bedroom is finely decorated with the brightest tones of pink and offers a lower level where you find the queen bed and, a small loft with a reading corner. This room also boasts a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi.

TWIN BEDROOM (Also convertible into double upon request): The third bedroom has white exposed beams and 2 twin beds (which can be turned into a double bed upon request) surmounted by a headboard decorated with a design in shades of red and blue. These colors give the room a cheerful style. This room is equipped with walk-in closet too and bathroom painted with green tones and a stand-alone shower.

DOUBLE BEDROOM: The last double bedroom spreads over 2 levels: on the lower floor there is an elegant and modern bathroom, decorated with black and white tones and equipped with shower. On the upper level, there is the sleeping area with a double bed and panoramic window overlooking the garden.

Dependence

DOUBLE BEDROOM: The double bedroom located in the annex is equipped with a double bed with wrought iron headboard and wardrobe. A window offers light and brightness to the whole ambience.  

TWIN BEDROOM: The twin room offers two beds with colorful headboards, original wooden wardrobe and a bright window.  

Swimming Pool

The outdoor spaces host a beautiful swimming pool, located at a lower level and immersed in the Tuscan countryside with panoramic views on the surrounding areas. The pool side is equipped with parasols, sunbeds and a heated Jacuzzi.
