Villa Lorenza is a spectacular country villa in the heart of Chianti, a short distance from the Badia of Passignano with its monastery of the Abbey of Saint Michael. The sweeping typical Chianti landscape with its particular flora and fauna are only some of the wonders of this protected area.To reach the villa there is 3 km of unbitumened road. The beauty of the place makes it worth your while. The village of Badia of Passignano has shops and a variety of restaurants.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Villa Lorenza, which has breathtaking view out over the valley, has a private lawn garden, BBQ and an outside area ideal for Alfresco eating and relaxing. The property is divided into two houses; a main villa and a smaller cottage. The larger house has an outside area with pergola which invites relaxing,reading on the comfortable divan or outside eating. There are 40 hectares of private land where you are welcome to go walking or use the mountain bikes available. In the price are included linen and wifi. In the pool there is a jacuzzi area in which you can relax and perhaps taste one of the excellent wines of the area while you enjoy the surrounding view. The villa is in the typical materials of the area stone, wooden beams, arched ceilings.The interior is in pale pastel colours, with areas for relaxing, fireplaces – very authentic Tuscan.

Ground Floor

The main villa has a main entrance – which leads to a spacious and well-equipped kitchen. This is ideal for cooking lessons and leads to the dining room. The rest of the ground floor is composed of an enormous lounge area which includes a grand piano There is also a small bathroom. 

First Floor

There are six bedrooms: four doubles, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and one has a bathtub. On this floor there is also a second kitchen and lounge area with a lovely view over the surrounding countryside. The cottage is near the beautiful pool and has two bedrooms, ( a double bedroom and a double twin bedroom, and a bathroom with shower), a kitchen and lounge overlooking the pool.

Swimming Pool

Next to the cottage is a magnificent swimming pool ( 12 mts x 4 mts and 1.60 mts deep) a shower and sunbeds with umbrellas for relaxing in the shade.The pool is open from the beginning of May to the end of September
