Villa La Distesa is the perfect place for a country living experience in complete relax in Tuscany. A wonderful “casa privata” in the heart of the countryside with a 360° view over the beautiful rolling Tuscan hills surrounding the villa; the house is very secluded and private, but the landscape is offered entirely to your eyes and it seem like you can touch the nearby town, lying higher at the hilltop, with your fingertips.

Villa La Distesa allows guests to live an Italian experience, where you can breathe and enjoy a great harmony and deep contact with the nature. A heated swimming pool, a synergic garden and a gym. To make you live beautiful emotions, a true Tuscan life. Your home in Tuscany, where you can be wrapped up by a scent of aromatic herbs, You can use products from the vegetable garden, play billiard or ping pong, paint and enjoy the rythm of nature. A special Tuscan country house, part of the surrounding landscape.

Ground Floor

A welcoming veranda, that connects the two parts of the house where you can store coats and jackets, shoes equipped with an antique wooden table and an armchair, with a bench with cushions – an area, where you can also just sit and enjoy reading a book or drink a cup of tea or coffee. A spacious living area with comfortable sofas, library filled with books, stereo, SKY-TV with DVD player, large fire place. From a corner of this living room you have access to a second kitchen with 5 coves, oven, micro oven, dishwasher, large fridge so that you can prepare tea or snacks. Second living area with pool table and fireplace.

After the pool table room there are another bedroom which can be converted into a twin bedroom with private bathroom with shower. Large kitchen in the traditions Tuscan style with all modern facilities: A large loft with a romantic staircase leading onto a mezzanine floor. The large wooden dining table fits perfectly 12 guests and it in front of a very big wooden archway glass door with the big 30 mt patio and the breathtaking view.

Furthermore, there is a third kitchen with 5 coves and fridge very comfortable when events take place on site. Double bedroom with a handmade baldachin; bathroom with very large double head shower (2 meter x 80 cm). Close to the main kitchen lies a charming double bedroom in pastel soft colors tones with an ancient iron bed and a particular cup board which was used as a shop window in the past. Fels very warm and comfortable with two windows facing south, the bedroom has a bath with tub hydromassage. This is the only bedroom with external bathroom.

First Floor

On the first floor you will find two master bedrooms and between these an elegant lounge with a round little table and two comfortable and particular armchairs. From here you also have acces to a small terrace with a spectacular view. The Violet bedroom: The Tuscan wood features this floor that has a double bedroom that can also be twin with a charming yellow orange colors, en-suite bath with double shower heads (1.50 meter x 80 cm). A large bedroom with a warm peach colour with a super king size bed 2 mt x 2 mt with a charming swan on the top. A private bathroom with shower and a big round tub.In the corner of this bedroom lies behind a hand made “separè” made of silk fabrics with a huge 170 x 170 Villery Boch bathtub with hydromassage. The ancient Tuscan wood features all this floor. There is an iron bedroom and private bathroom with jacuzzi rectangular bath.

Gym

The gym is located art 80 meters from the main house. It consist in 100 sqm which is dedicated various activities such as yoga, pilates, boxe, judo, tai chi, massage, meditation or even dance divided into two communicating parts, through a 1 mt opening which has a door that can be closed of there are two different events ( someone trains and someone gives a massage ) A part of the gym, is equipped with a tatami mats and a yoga mats with equipment such as block for 12 people, 4 pilates balls, 1 punching bag and a speed ball. A part of the gym room has a leather sofa bed, a massage table, a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, laundry area with washer and dryer, plus staff bathroom. The gym can be heated but there is no air condition as this part of the building is very cool even in the Summer months.

Swimming Pool

Infinity heated salt water pool ( 4 meters x 18 meters )open all year round.

Access & Parking

A 700 meters dirt road is available to reach Villa La Distesa, accessible for the well-travelled also with sport cars. Private car park on site.

OUTDOOR FEATURES

Circular vegetable gardens with two basis with seasonal products and aromatic herbs and plants such as lavender, rosemary, basil and wild flowers. Outside the main kitchen there is a spacious portico of 30 sqm furnished with coaches and a large dining table with chairs, that can accommodate 12 guests is the perfect area of dining al fresco with a delicious Tuscan wine. A portable BBQ is available close to the kitchen.

The private swimming pool was a former animal drinking place. 6 sun loungers chairs on the wooden edge around the pool of the brand Uno piu like all outdoor equipment. 2 canopies ( one double and one single ) on the poolside. Two deck chairs in the well area with another white synthetic bed. All the beds and deckchairs are covered with special cushions. The outdoor facilities also include a corner ideal for meditation and relax with a patio away from the house with 4 chaises lounges in the garden. A double hammock is at disposal for a complete relax between the three cypress in the garden. Ping pong table.
