PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Villa Gloria in Tavernelle Val di Pesa was purchased at the end of 1950 by a nobile Tuscan family, who subsequently restored the villa to its past splendour. The restoration of the property has not only maintained its architectural style, but has also enhanced the natural harmony which melt this structure perfectly into the Tuscan landscape.Villa Gloria lies right in the heart of the Chianti area and one of the highlights of this Tuscan country house is possibility to admire the picturesque Tuscan landscape, made up of green hills dotted with olive trees, vineyards and centuries-old cypress trees. A meticulous and detailed restoration, with the objective of retaining as many of the original architectural elements of Villa Gloria, has resulted in recreating a cosy atmosphere of this noble family home. Air conditioning is throughout the entire villa and windows have built-in screens, which will guarantee a cool and relaxing summer. Surrounding Villa Gloria, in the gardens are lovely furnished seating areas, a large stone terrace with a covered outdoor eating area, and swimming pool with a surrounding stone deck.  

Swimming Pool

There is a lovely, private swimming pool, beautifully positioned, surrounded by the gardens, vineyards and olive trees. A day lounging by the pool, in the Tuscan sun, is well deserved and an occasional dip in the pool is the perfect way to relax and cool down.  Measures: 7 mts x 15 mts, 1.20 mt deep – 1.40 deep.
