PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Villa Castellina is a country villa part of a large wine estate that stretches for 600 hectares between Montalcino and Siena.  The entire property adheres to organic agricultural methods, from the 8 hectares of planted vineyards, to its cereal and grain production, to its D.O.P. Extra Virgin olive oil, protecting the flavors and traditions of the past. The main villa, renovated in 2019, is divided into a north and a south wing and boasts a combined ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms.  The property is surrounded by a lush garden where with a magnificent swimming pool and large poolside area equipped with comfortable sun lounge chairs, deck chairs, and umbrellas to give shade on hot summer days. The spectacular views of the surrounding countryside instantly install a sense of peace and calm, making this an exceptional, ideal area to enjoy moments of true relaxation and peace. The garden also boasts a generous al fresco dining area with barbecue, where guests can intimately spend time together while enjoying traditional Italian food and the mild Tuscan climate.

The North Wing

The North wing houses the main living & dining room, a full equipped modern kitchen on the ground floor, and large picture window doors that open onto the garden where guests can enjoy an evening cocktail or read a book while looking out to an incomparable glimpse of Montalcino.  A large covered patio, just next to living room and kitchen, is set up for external dining, along with a wood barbecue area.

The Southern Wing  

The ground floor enjoys a large living room with wood fireplace and a large Tuscan style kitchen. The bedrooms lie on the first floor.  

• R – Double bedroom with King size bed, which can also be converted into two single beds (1.90 cm x 90 cm) with AC, fans and and mosquito nets on the windows. Private bathroom with bathtub.
• B – Double bedroom with King size bed with AC, fans and mosquito nets on the window. Private bathroom with shower

Guesthouse

A guest house full of charm completes Villa Castellina.  The ground floor enjoys a beautiful living room with a stone and brick fireplace, making the atmosphere warm and cozy.  A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower enjoys a special view of the olive grove and pool, just situated below the cottage.  The upper floor is designed as a loft and boasts a wonderful master bedroom with Queen size bed, AC and en-suite bathroom with shower.  

Garden and Swimming Pool

A beautiful swimming pool (11 meters x 5 meters x 1.20 m deep) lies in the center of the villa’s garden, with a unique view of the valley overlooking the olive grove.  Private wine tastings at the estate’s wine cellar are also available.  The gardens are a perfect spot for dinner, a barbecue night, or to enjoy an afternoon glass of Rose. Table Tennis and Basketball nets are available as well.
