Villa Madam is a lovely original fisherman’s house located on a pebble beach along Lake Como’s western shore, in Santa Maria Rezzonico, precisely in the small village of San Siro.To access the property, you have to park your car in the public parking area and then walk along a path with steps (about 150 m). The property is located on a pebble beach along Lake Como’s western shore, in Santa Maria Rezzonico, precisely in the picturesque village of San Siro, where you can still feel the atmosphere of the ancient past and view the beautiful castle dating back to the year 1000. Besides, in San Siro you will find a pizzeria, a grocery store and a restaurant. On the shore of the lake there are some water sports facilities (boat rental, sailing, surfing), as well as many scenic trekking routes.Lake Como is renowned for its lush vegetation, the mild climate and beautiful villas. Among these, probably the most famous one is Villa Carlotta, a perfect combination of luxurious interiors and luxuriant exteriors. Como is 43 km away, with the Cathedral and its old churches. We recommend taking the cable car up to Brunate for a truly spectacular view.A lovely lakeside town, located on the opposite shore, is Bellagio, the “pearl of the lake” with its narrow-cobbled streets, breathtaking views, and glorious villas. To reach Bellagio, you have to take the car ferry from Tremezzo. For sports lovers, in Menaggio you will find a golf course, a tennis court and an equestrian club. From Menaggio there are ferries to other villages on the shore and the lake islands.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Villa Madam has been completely renovated and the house enjoys three large panoramic terraces with incredible views of the lake, including one fenced with BBQ, ideal for alfresco dining, while enjoying the wonderful view. There is a mooring available in the little picturesque port located nearby. The property is spread over three floors and it consists of two non-connected parts, each with independent entrance. The interior furnishings are cozy and comfortable. 

Basement floor

At guests’ disposal there is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. 

Ground Floor

The ground floor features a nice studio with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom with bathtub and a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the lake.

First Floor

Behind, on the other side of the house, there is the entrance of the main part: on the first floor you will find a dining room with wonderful views and an open-plan fully equipped kitchen.  The kitchen leads to another panoramic terrace

Second Floor

On the second level is a living room with Sat-TV and DVD player; a bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and handheld shower; a twin/double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with shower)

Top floor

The top floor consists of a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with shower) and a lofted area with two additional single beds (suitable for kids).

Access & Parking

There is no private parking space. You have to park your car in the public parking area and then walk for about 150 m.
