During your vacation in Villa Franca  our team will help you  for ticket reservation of museums and exhibitions, to arrange tasting tour of typical products from Tuscany like extravirgin olive oil and wine, or to arrange for special meals in the exclusive Canteen of the Villa, where you can experience the traditional recipes of tuscan cuisine. It is also possible to organize cooking classes in the farmhouse for our guests, so as to learn how to cook real italian food. Villa Franca is a hundred year old farmhouse overlooking the hills of Tuscany and  is situated in an oasis of green amidst centuries-old olive trees, where the air is filled with the fragrance of cypress trees and wild herbs.  The luxury villa has recently been elegantly renovated to reflect the taste and style of the owners who, whilst providing the building with every comfort, have chosen to preserve its original structure with open beam ceilings, brick arches and terracotta floors, in accordance with the architectural tradition of the Chianti district. Guests can also enjoy the splendid swimming pool with Jacuzzi and the delightful wellbeing Center called “Calidarium”  with heated Jacuzzi pool, sauna, automatic Shiatsu massage bed, gym, 2 showers and a changing room. The wellness center is available exclusively to our guests. Massages and beauty treatments are available on request. There is a large outdoor pool with its dedicated entrance and waterfall onto the valley below is particularly beautiful. The pool features a big, mosaic clad whirlpool, and gentle cascades. Really fantastic is the panorama view.

Ground floor

A large paved area, leads into a big, characteristic terracotta room with stone walls, open beams and arches that offers a truly unique relaxing atmosphere thanks to the cheerful crackling of the fire in the typical Tuscan fireplace. At this floor there is the main hall with a typical Tuscan fireplace – that can be used by  the villa guests,   there is the bedroom La Casetta and there is the main kitchen at guests disposal: The bedroom La Casetta is composed from a lovely living room with fireplace and sofa, little kitchen and double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and bathtub. The Suite has AC and mosquito net. The main Kitchen is equipped with all the necessary to cook for 20 people, it is furnished with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, all at guest disposal. A large dining room with fireplace and tables and chairs is at guests disposal. From the large dining room it is possible to access to the out door areas provided with all the necessary equipment for enjoying open-air lunches and suppers, as well as comfortable sunbeds and hammocks in the private garden with barbecue.

First floor

On the first floor there are  7 Double Bedrooms all with en suite bathroom: This floor also has a large lounge room with a fireplace and comfortable sofas.

Second floor

At the second floor there is the  bedroom Capoccio. Situated above the roof, this was a type of tower that offered shelter to the farm’s doves and pigeons. The high position makes it possible to get a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside on three sides of the room itself. Due to the particular characteristics of this floor, the private bathroom for this bedroom can be found in a reserved, private area on the first floor of the Villa.

Guest house

Adjacent to the main villa there is  an independent apartment.  It was built out of the interior of what was originally the barn of the farm, and it takes up the entire first floor of the farmhouse. There is  a large living room with fireplace, sofas and Sat-TV, kitchen equipped with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, one double bedroom, one twin-bedded room, bathroom with shower and bathtub. What is unique to the cottage is the large loggia, the private garden and direct access to the swimming pool. This apartment has been renovated with respect for the criteria of rural architecture, thus attention has been given to the style and design of the buildings’ original state: hand painted ceramic bathroom tiles, upholstering coordinated with interior pastel colours, rooms furnished with antique furniture, elegant and comfortable areas creating an atmosphere of relaxation ensuring a pleasant stay in a villa in the countryside of Tuscany.
