Villa Ridolfo is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico country, close to Siena. The village of Pianella is just five minutes away and is great for basic shopping. Radda and Gaiole in Chianti are just 20 minutes from your villa while San Gimignano, Arezzo, Volterra and other historic hill-top towns are about 40 minutes to an hour. Florence is an hour away while Rome is just under three hours. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the vineyards, villa Ridolfo is the perfect country retreat for groups of families and friends. Guests can dine al-fresco on the furnished terrace, relax in the manicured gardens, gather under the pergola, and take a refreshing dip in the private swimming pool all while enjoying panoramic views. Within the villa, the ground floor is a gorgeous social space with two sitting rooms, a dining room and character country kitchen. One of the five bedrooms shares this floor, while the rest occupy the upper level, each with color-washed walls in coral or sunshine yellow, pretty fabrics, antique pieces, and private or en suite bathroom. Outside a shaded dining terrace enjoys the endless panoramas, and the twelve-meter swimming pool is fitted with an exercise jet. Cook service can be pre-booked for a true taste of Tuscany. Upon arrival, Villa Ridolfo welcomes guests into the large entrance hall. An entrance hall leads into two spacious living rooms comfortably decorated in classic Tuscan country style. Down the way is a large sitting room with a stone fire place, satellite SKY TV, DVD player and hi- fI system. There’s also a second sitting room with a corner fire place and a door that opens to the lawn. Enjoy a meal of fresh pasta in the dining room with a table to seat 8-10 people. Spectacular outdoor spaces and beautiful pool with panoramic views. There are four bedrooms with queen beds; one has an en-suite bathroom, two have private bathrooms and one has a bathroom with shower. The fifth bedroom has two twin beds and a private bathroom. A panoramic, furnished terrace overlooks the countryside and the manicured lawn that gently slopes down to the private, infinity-edge swimming pool (12 m x 5 m). Small pool house with bathroom and shower. Extensive gardens feature a relaxing pergola furnished with cushioned chairs.
