Villa Ilaria, located in Gaiole in Chianti in central Tuscany, is a perfect base from which to explore the entire Tuscany region including Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Cortona. Gaiole was historically an important market center for nearby towns & villages.  It now contains a small supermarket, delicatessens, espresso bars, restaurants, banks, and a pharmacy. The area, in general, is surrounded by illustrious vineyards and produces some of the most recognizable Italian wines in the world. Founded by the Longobards, Gaiole has been home to the noble Ricasoli family since the 12th Century and the famous winemaker Baron Bettino Ricasoli created the recipe for the Chianti Classico still produced to this day. The villa is divided on two levels and enjoys 4 double (Queen) bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. The villa enjoys high quality furnishings throughout and is a mix of classical and modern styles.  There are 2 living rooms: the first lies is a beautiful space on the ground floor with a stunning gray marble floor, comfortable sofas, a large cable TV, and a fire place, the second living room lies on the first floor.  There is a dining room with direct access to the garden through a large door, and a kitchen with two ovens and an array of modern comforts.  There is also a large game room with a billiard table and foosball, as well as a very characteristic wine cellar. The large outdoor dining terrace has a table for 10 and a large internal courtyard where guests can enjoy their down time or cocktails. The space is large and can accommodate up to 50 guests for those that want to invite the neighbors over for a dinner party!  There is a traditional garden with local trees, shrubs, and herbs.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool enjoys comfortable sunbeds on the greenery near the olive grove.  The area offers breathtaking views.
