The property is located in the heart of Chianti, just 1km from Mercatale and San Casciano Val di Pesa and is composed of the Main house and the Guest House. surrounded by the typical Tuscan vineyards and olive groves. Villa Alba is a marvellous country house located right outside Florence halfway between Florence and Siena. The whole area is well renowned for its historical facts, wines – part of the Chianti Classico, olive oil and excellent food. Villa Alba is a stylish and perfectly refined property in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by wonderful gardens. It sleeps 12 people. Villa Alba is 530 square meters (5704 square feet). It features a private swimming pool with hydro massage, Jacuzzi a private garden, air conditioning, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access. The villa is surrounded by a park with olive groves, just a few steps away from the pool and under a stone patio perfect for 12 guests eating “al fresco”, a small gym is equipped for training while admiring the stunning panorama. The main villa has its own dependence, an extremely well renewed barn, detached from the villa and on its right side.

Ground floor

The hall (entrance from the patio and pool side) leads you to a living/study room with a large sofa (double sofa bed) and a relax-area with a fireplace and air conditioning. There is a long table for 12 people, for lunches or dinners. Next to the dining area are a small kitchen and another bigger and well- equipped one with microwave, dishwasher, oven, toaster and other amenities. The living room has a double sofa bed, SKY tv, DVD and CD player. A stair will lead you on a basement where still is an ancient wine cellar and a dedicated space for laundry (towels and a high chair as well). On this floor are also a service bathroom with shower and a double bedroom (5 steps to climb) with En-suite bathroom dug in the ancient stony structure of the house (shower), TV and air conditioning.

First floor

On the first floor a long corridor/hall separates the bedrooms from the living area. The latter is composed by a wide and space with sofas, flat screen TV, fireplace. On the left side of the room is a suite with its own huge bathroom with shower. Bedrooms are: one twin/double bedroom with En-suite bathroom (Jacuzzi tub); two double bedrooms, each with En-suite bathroom (shower); 1 guest bathroom. The whole floor is air-conditioned.

Guest House

Available on request for larger groups, the well refined dependence can host up to 4 guests (2 on request). On the ground floor is a comfortable and elegant living room with a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The first floor is a cosy loft with a double bed. The dependence is air-conditioned.

Garden/Swimming Pool

The villa is surrounded by olive groves and boast spectacular panoramic Tuscan views. A large swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, located in the garden, offers nice sun lounges and umbrellas. In front of the main villa a covered panoramic patio equipped with a dining table perfect for al fresco meals are located. A small gym is also available to the guests who want to keep fit during their vacation. The swimming pool is completely covered in mosaic decoration and is surrounded by the typical Tuscan hills, providing to the guest an extremely suggestive atmosphere. Moreover, is possible to enjoy a relaxing water massage in a smaller circular pool adjacent to the main pool. The area is provided with useful changing rooms and showers.

To stay at Villa Alba, you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space.
