LOCATION

Villa Adele is in a corner of Tuscany, uncontaminated by crowds of tourists and near the medieval village of Montelopio. Located close to Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra, the Etruscans Longobards, Templar Knights and the noble families of Granducato of Tuscany, have left signs of their passing on this “mountain of wellbeing”.  Montelopio is a small village located in Peccioli municipality. This small community provides for the most basic shopping needs with the usual coffee shop where the elderly sit around a table playing cards to while away the hours, and the young people gather in the streets to chat. You can buy an ice cream or a coffee in the bars in the small side streets and take in the relaxed atmosphere. You won’t see many other tourists here; it’s a pretty peaceful place and there is space to stretch your legs without the crowds that you find in more known tourist towns in the region. It is just 8 km from Peccioli, where several shops are located, and 16 km from the charming town of Lajatico and 22 km from Volterra’s medieval centre, where you will find traces of Roman times, where we suggest  do not forget to visit to the Roman theatre  and the Etruscan ruins and also enjoy  the outstanding views  from the fabulous belvedere.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Villa Adele is a typical a ‘800 colonial Tuscan country house, wiseley recontructed with good taste by the owners, which restored it underlying the more characteristic aspects: cotto, chestnut beams and stone walls, accompanied by modern solutions to give the guests maximum comfort. At few meters from Villa Adele you can find everything you need to make your vacation comfortable. The house is divided into 2 floors and can host 11 guests.The whole villa has central AC and heating, regulated in each room, a safe and a covered parking.

Ground Floor

The ground floor features a kitchen, equipped with every type of features (American coffee machine, blender, moka, dishwasher, espresso machine, fridge with freezer, fruit juicer, microwave, oven, toaster and water boiler) with a small room attached, a lounge room has a large dining table, furnishings, divans and arm chairs, a large salon has an antique fireplace, divans, furnishings and armchairs plus Sat-TV and a double bedroom with Sat-TV and bathroom with shower. There is also an extra bathroom (for disabled too) with shower.

First Floor

An iron and stone staircase leads to the upper floor where there are tree double bedrooms (with the possibility to add an extra single bed each), each one with its own bathroom with shower, rustic fireplace, Sat-TV. A spiral staircase leads to the “pigeon house”, a typical tower placed in the middle of the roof and transformed into a relaxation area with armchairs and a magnificent 360° view of the surrounding hills.

Swimming Pool

In the gorgeous garden there is small rustic outbuilding, open on three sides, is equipped for cooking, BBQ or simply relax. An amazing 15 mts x5 mts pool (150 to 40 cm depth) with a roman staircase and hydromassage area in the pool. The pool is an infinity pool on 3 sides. On the 4th side there is a small waterfall into a part of the pool for children, where the water is only 40 cm deep. There is also a solarium with sunbeds, table and chairs for sun lovers, a comfortable wrought iron gazebo with divans and armchairs for those who prefer the shade. All of this is surrounded by a 5.000 sqm park with typical Tuscan flora.

Access & Parking

The villa is surrounding fence with electric gate and Mediterranean trees and hedges to protect your privacy and also features a covered parking space up for four cars.
