Il Casolare perched elegantly at the top of a long private drive, is located in a rural area surrounded by vast woodlands. Offering extraordinary panorama of vineyards and cypress trees typical to this Tuscan classic hilly area, private estates, rustic farmhouses, and small villages of extraordinary charm overlook the distant Tuscan hills and the undulating countryside, which has always had profound agricultural significance. The nearby medieval town of Figline Val D’Arno was known as the “Barn of Florence” for its abundant corn supplies: Wine, olive oil, peaches, & cherries have been growing here for centuries.

About 150 meters from the main gate, you will reach the farmhouse Il Casolare. Entrance into the villa takes us up 22 steps to the first floor and the annex. As you enter the villa, you will find yourself in lounge area in front of the kitchen door. The kitchen boasts a 4-range stovetop and to one side, a marble top table, and a country style table with benches to the other. The kitchen enjoys several windows looking out over the vineyards and hills in the distance. The lounge is divided into two sections; the first part section has a classic country style table with benches besides the fireplace. The other part has some antique furniture like those used in old pharmacies. There is a very big green couch that takes up almost the entire right wall of the room, chairs, a coffee table, and a TV with Sky satellite. There are 3 double bedrooms in this annex with classical furniture, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. There are also 2 bathrooms, one of which one is en-suite. A double bedroom with bedside tables formed as Roman capitals, a large closet, a wicker chair, a chest with three drawers, and a window overlooking the vineyard, which surrounds the estate. The bathroom, with a freestanding bath and shower, is shared with another double. A second double bedroom a closet with mirror and a dresser with 4 drawers. A third double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a double bed with a white headboard, a closet and antique style chest with four drawers. Four steps lead to the en-suite bathroom with freestanding bathtub and shower room.
