LOCATION

Villa Parmeide is a splendid home in the countryside near Pistoia, located at just 1 km from Casalguidi, a small village, where you can find a supermarket and a butcher. Still at 1 km away there are some private helicopter landing runways for excursions. Moreover, the property is just 9 km from Pistoia and 22 km from Montecatini Terme. Montecatini Terme is a renowned spa resort, well-known for its historic Liberty-style villas and for it’s monumental thermal baths belonging to the Tettuccio complex. From here you can visit the main Tuscan cities of art such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, but also other beautiful attractions like Vinci (the village of Leonardo), Collodi (the birthplace of Pinocchio), San Gimignano and Volterra. For sport lovers, we suggest to go to the nearby equestrian center and tennis club (both only 5 minutes by car) or to the two golf clubs (16 km and 20 km away, respectively). For sea lovers, you can easily reach the well-known Versilia seaside resorts (such as Viareggio or Forte dei Marmi) in less than an hour.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Villa Parmenide is a magnificent property surrounded by a 45-acre park with olives groves, fruit trees and relaxing walks in the greenery with views of the hills.  When you arrive at the villa you have the feeling of being in a really unique place: the colors, the light, the perfumes, the olive groves. It is a really magic place for both body and spirit.  The external space has been divided into various areas which offer guests the possibility of relaxing in complete privacy. For your enjoyment you will find a private pool where you can relax while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a busy day of shopping. Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals using local produce while on your vacation and dines ‘al fresco’, with friends and family under the fully furnished veranda that is the ideal setting to relax and enjoy the nice Tuscan weather.

Ground Floor (Main Entrance)

The access is on the ground floor where you enter an ample living room with direct access through sliding glass doors onto the verandah which looks out over the surrounding countryside. This lounge is furnished in a classical style, refined but comfortable, with divans, fireplace, piano, elegant carpets, dining table and air conditioning, it’s a perfect place to get together, with no time table to respect, no noise to disturb total silence and relax. Next to the lounge there is a bathroom (with shower) and the staircase which leads to the balcony, where there is air conditioning and a double bed. There is also a second living area furnished in rustic furniture with armchairs, fireplace and dining table and chairs that is a very warm, cozy area. Next to this there is a fully equipped kitchen and a functional laundry room with washer and drier. The sleeping zone is composed by comfortable bedrooms with air conditioning, beams and pastel-colored walls.  One double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and bath that opens onto the outside and from this leads to another bedroom with two single beds.

First Floor

The first floor of the villa is accessible from the inside as well as from the outside and feature a fully equipped kitchen, a stylish lounge room with kitchen area, fireplace and piano. There are also three bedrooms. One double bedroom with bathroom with shower and bath, one bedroom with two single beds (which can be made into a double bed), and a double bedroom with bathroom with shower, all of these have AC.

Swimming Pool

12 meters long x 5.6 m wide x 1,4m and maximum 1,5m deep . The garden is extremely well cared for with aromatic plants and rose gardens, furnished by a gazebo where you are able to dine together in the shade, also using the BBQ at the rear of the villa. The recited swimming pool has a changing room, fridge, toilet and outside solar shower and it’ s in a panoramic position outfitted with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a lounge area where it is possible to organize a sunset aperitive and take in the beautiful view. Everything it has been well thought out, for can feel completely at home, it is a mixture of atmosphere, colors and furnishings, all with one aim to create a place where you can really feel “good”!

The villa, which is accessed through an electric gate and an independent driveway, has a private covered parking for three cars.

VILLA POLICIES

• The Experience has shown us that a total, weekly consumption of electricity, including AC, does not exceed 300 kw. Obviously, a careful use of AC is advised: (a) to turn it off when the house is not occupied, (b) to close windows and doors when the AC is on.
